Roger A. Bernstein

Roger Bernstein - Board Certified Immigration Attorney

Roger A Bernstein is a Florida Board Certified Immigration attorney with fifteen years of practice devoted exclusively to immigration law. He spent six years with the U.S. Department of Justice serving as an INS trial attorney, sector counsel to the INS' Inspections and Investigations Divisions and INS Asylum Officer. Since co-founding Bernstein Osberg-Braun, LLC in 1998, Mr. Bernstein has focused his practice on assisting immigrant investors, acquiring employment based visas and complex immigration litigation.

Mr. Bernstein has more than a decade of experience in the EB-5 arena; he has broad expertise in both direct and regional center investments. From analyzing the source of funds to filing the initial I526, Mr. Bernstein understands the complexities of the visa category. Bernstein had also counseled companies desiring to obtain regional center status. He has also a partner in American Life Investments, a USCIS designated regional center in Miami-Dade County.

Mr Bernstein has represented and counseled foreign governments, Fortune 500 companies and large-privately held companies. He has also successfully acquired non-immigrant visas and residency for hundreds of individuals who desired to live and work in the United States.

A graduate of Brown University and the University of Miami School of Law, Mr. Bernstein serves on the Miami-Dade County Enterprise Zone Advisory Council, the Board of the American Jewish Committee, the Great Florida Bank Advisory Board and Chair of the Florida Bar Immigration Certification Committee. He is admitted to practice law in Florida, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Linda Osberg-Braun

Linda Osberg-Braun - Board Certified Immigration Attorney

Linda Osberg-Braun draws on her years of experience as Deputy District Counsel for INS (now DHS) and her trial and criminal defense skills from her years as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Southern District of Florida. She is a partner and co-founder of Bernstein Osberg-Braun as well as American Life Investments, a federally designated USCIS Regional Center operating in Miami-Dade County.

Ms. Osberg graduated from Penn State University (B.S., Engineering Honors Program, 1985) and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (J.D., 1988). She is Board certified by the Florida Bar as an expert in Immigration and Nationality Law and the immediate past-president of the American Immigration Law Association, South Florida Chapter. She serves the Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee of the Florida Bar.

Ms. Osberg enjoys speaking before immigration attorneys and corporate international attorneys regarding widespread changes in policy and the shifting national attention to immigration issues and foreign investment considerations. She lectures throughout the nation regarding the ongoing security and enforcement changes within the Department of Homeland Security. She is the recipient of the University of Pittsburgh's Marjorie Matson Award for her work helping Haitian and Cuban refugees find freedom and safety in the United States.

Regina de Moraes

Regina de Moraes - Florida Immigration Litigation Attorney

Regina de Moraes is a partner in the law firm of Bernstein Osberg-Braun & de Moraes. She has a vast array of experience in immigration matters and criminal court cases. Ms. de Moraes is a former felony prosecutor, with the Dade County State Attorneys Office. She specializes in immigration litigation with a special emphasis on waivers of removal and oversees the firm's litigation department. Karen Caco

Karen Caco is a leading EB-5 Regional Center lawyer and Consular Processing expert. She speaks around the world about US immigration, EB-5 Regional Center investments and EB-5 Green Cards, Business Immigration and Consular Processing. She is the only immigration attorney in the world to visit and film the various Regional Centers in the United States and as a result is extremely knowledgeable about the inner workings of Regional Centers and their projects. Tatiana Bessonova - Of Counsel

Tatiana Bessonova is an attorney at Bernstein Osberg-Braun & de Moraes. Hector R. Galeano

Hector R. Galeano

Hector Galeano is an associate attorney at Bernstein, Osberg-Braun and de Moraes. Mr. Galeano represents clients in the areas of immigration litigation, family based immigrant visas and employment based nonimmigrant and immigrant visas. He focuses on filing employment based nonimmigrant visa petitions, drafting appeals to the BIA, and preparing waivers for individuals deemed inadmissible. Mr. Galeano has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2008. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2008.

Miguel D. Braun

Miguel Braun - In-House Investigator

Miguel Braun is the principal investigator with Bernstein Osberg-Braun, LLC. Mr. Braun specializes in tracing and verifying source of funds issues in preparation for EB-5 filings. A multi-cultural, multi-lingual and multi-ethnic individual, he lends valuable insight and a keen understanding to every matter. He focuses on a variety of complex investigative matters and problem solving. Problem cases are his specialty. Mr. Braun's fifteen year experience includes civil and criminal private investigations for defense and prosecution and all investigations involving state and federal government cases. He has traveled abroad to conduct investigations in countries during times of conflict and rampant criminality.

He served as an investigator with the Federal Public Defender's Office for eight years as well as the Dade County Public Defender's Office. He was also an in house investigator for the law firm of Ferrell Schultz. As a troubleshooter, he offers a creative approach to solving investigative problems. He has been successful in exonerating innocent people and companies domestically and worldwide by taking a unique and tenacious approach. His investigations have also led to the successful prosecution and conviction of individuals engaged in criminal activity.

Sandy O'Neil is Vice President of Development for the Miami-Dade Regional Center, principally managed by American Life Inc. She has spent over thirty years in the facilitation of capital development projects in both the public and private sectors. Her projects have included infrastructure improvements as well as institutional, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use developments at a total cost of over $1 Billion. Ms. O'Neil served as Special Advisor to then Miami-Dade County Mayor Alex Penelas where her responsibilities included oversight of the governmental departments and agencies responsible for capital projects. She spent over twenty years in the private sector working in a project delivery capacity for top ranked global design and construction management firms. She has a strong track record in successful negotiations with local, state and federal agencies instrumental to the provision of project funding and approvals and has been recognized for her achievements in these endeavors.

Scott R. Jablonski

Scott R. Jablonski - Of Counsel Immigration Attorney

Scott Jablonski counsels corporations applying for Regional Center designation and drafts private placement memorandums and appropriate corporate documents. Mr. Jablonski founded SRJpl Law in 2007, and is the Firm's Managing Member. He is admitted to the bars of the State of Florida and the District of Columbia.
